Front part of Husk bottle library in Kompheim Village.

Husk is an NGO which base in Siem Reap city. Husk now is working with 3 villages to help villagers to have a better living and create opportunities for them to break the poverty.

Education is one of the main projects of Husk. This organization built up a school in Kompheim village which is located about 16km away southwest of Siem Reap city and now this school is been providing free English classes for about 300 kids in this village. As you know already English is very important for the people to find jobs especially this city is the most important part of Cambodia for tourism so if someone can speak English they actually can find a job easily.

Husk also has other different projects to help these communities such as:

- Water filter: To help the villagers accessible to clean drinking water then their kids and themselves will not have any problem which cause from waterborne diseases.
- House rebuild and maintenance: To help poor families who can't afford to build new house while they are living an a small leaking house and for those who can't fix some parts of their old house that leaking.

There are also some other projects which I can't explain here all so if you would like to check out what Husk have done for the communities of Cambodia please go to www.huskcambodia.org
